The estate comprises of 1.8 million square feet of award-winning accommodation, arranged so that each building faces the 'inner garden' with a featured two-tier lake, waterfall, decked boardwalk, pathways, events space and landscaping. The Park also houses over 45,000 square feet of retail space, including an on-site gym, restaurants, convenience stores and an ever-changing array of pop-up traders and street-food vendors.
Contracted to WOT Security, our work at Chiswick Park during 2017 and 2018 involved the installation of more than seventeen kilometres of OM4 fibre optic cable, as per the schematic below, to support a host of CCTV cameras and intercom points across the estate.
Although the majority of the underground routes throughout the estate were already in place, we were also required to install some new ducts where none already existed, plus we often had to use dual-frequency Sonde equipment where ducts were known to exist but could not be easily identified or located.
